2010 - PolarExplorers guides the first
heart transplant recipient to ski the last degree to the North
Pole, followed by a second expedition including the first
Arab woman to ski the last degree to the North Pole, and the youngest
person (a 15 yr. old) to ski the last degree to the North Pole.
Additionally, PolarExplorers guides a team of 7 on a three day expedition
to the North Pole. While out on the ice, the Iceland volcano erupts,
but so far north the team sees no signs of the ash cloud. Read

2009 - PolarExplorers starts the year
off with a South Pole Last
Degree Ski Expedition and Vinson Massif Expedition followed by
six (!) different North Pole expeditions including a full
expedition from Ward Hunt Island to the North Pole and a 5 degree
expedition from 85° N. Other teams include a Two-Degree
Dogsled Expedition, Last
Degree Ski Expedition and a very special 100 year Peary-Henson
Centennial group that celebrates the historic moment at the North
Pole exactly 100 years to the day after Peary and Henson first reached

Polar Year with several North Pole expeditions including a last
degree ski expedition and a 2
degree dogsled & ski expedition. The North Pole is followed
by a crossing
of the Greenland icecap by dogsled and ski with a very international

2003 - PolarExplorers celebrates a decade of expeditions
by skiing to the South Pole and climbing the highest mountain in Antarctica,
Vinson Massif. PE's second trip to the North Pole via Spitzbergen
includes both an 11 year old boy and a 12
year old girl with the 11 year old skiing the final 5 miles to
the North Pole. |

2002 - PolarExplorers stands at 90 degrees north latitude
after skiing the last degree to the North Pole via Siberia. Additional
PE team members participate in the first flights shuttling amateur
adventurers to the North Pole via Spitzbergen, Norway. |

2001- PolarExplorers returns to Russia for a second ski expedition
to the North Pole via Siberia. Among participants is the first citizen
of the United Arab Emirates to reach the North Pole. A second PolarExplorers'
group reaches the Magnetic North Pole in the Canadian Arctic. |

2000 - PolarExplorers sends two expeditions to the North
Pole. The first expedition skis the last degree to the North Pole
via Siberia, while the second expedition dogsleds the last 2 degrees
to the North Pole via Canada, ultimately falling just short of their
goal. A third PE group attempts to reach the Pole by plane but is
held back by foul weather. |

1999 - PolarExplorers team stands at the top of the world
for the fourth time. |

1997 - PolarExplorers team completes a third doglesd and
ski expedition expedition to the North Pole from 88 degrees north
latitude. Participating in the expedition are two of Admiral Robert
Peary's great-grandsons attempting to recreate their ancestor's historic
final dash to the North Pole. |

1995 - PolarExplorers successfully completes its second dogsled
and ski expedition to the North Pole for amateur adventurers (starting
at 88 degrees N). Participating in the expedition were both the oldest
and youngest individuals to stand at the North Pole. Also on the expedtion
was a team of Chinese citizens and scientists, the first to reach
the Pole from the People's Republic of China. |

1993 - PolarExplorers creates, produces, and co-guides the
first-ever dogsled and ski expedition to the North Pole for amateur
adventurers. The expedition starts from 88 degrees N. This successful
expeditionmarks a new era in Polar exploration and adventure travel. |
