2007 North Pole

| About this expedition: Our 2007 North Pole "Expeditionary Champagne Flight" was a true adventure! We reached the North Pole by helicopter on April 12, a beautiful sunny day, and we had a great celebration. The festivities continued back at the Borneo ice camp where we became "tent bound" by a storm generated by low atmospheric pressure. Stuck with us at Borneo were many other adventurers and as we waited for conditions to improve we had a good time playing games, sharing jokes and swapping stories into the wee hours (easy to do when there's 24 hour sunlight!)
