Biggest Day Yet

The team put in 11 miles of southern progress today. A great effort! A morning headwind made it difficult to keep hands and faces warm at times, but all are comfortably enjoying some dinner and treats inside a warm tent now.

The team has advanced to within 33 miles of the Pole. They will likely cross the halfway point before their first rest break tomorrow. If the atmosphere is clear, they may even be able to the South Pole Station from tomorrow night's camp.

Make sure to listen to Matt's audio update, and check back tomorrow.
