Full South Pole Team

Meet the hearty team members of our 2014 Full South Pole Ski Expedition.

Meet our team!

Ian Evans - Canada

Ian Evans is 58 and married with one daughter. Ian has climbed 5 of the "7 Summits", circumnavigated Iceland by bicycle and cycled solo and unsupported 5,000 kms across Australia. On his Australia ride, he raised more than  $6,000 for Habitat for Humanity. When he isn't adventuring, Ian focuses on growing his motivational speaking business, adventure filmmaking and assisting his transportation industry clients navigate the complexities of restructuring and refinancing. Ian will be the oldest Canadian to ski from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole.

A portion of the funds Ian is raising will be donated to the Centre Wellington Community Foundation – www.cwcfoundation.ca

Bradley Cross - United Kingdom

Bradley is a 30 year old Brit who has been traveling the world the last 7 years with work as an Engineer. He loves the outdoors, travel, and pushing his body to its limits… but he thinks he may have to revisit that statement after this trip!! Bradley has "Never been in the Arctic and only skied twice so going to have to learn fast, but that just adds to the fun." He can’t wait to get down to Antarctica, and feel Mother Earth at her rawest. He "knows there will be plenty of highs and lows along the way, but with the good group of guys and a dram or two we'll hopefully make it all the way to the Pole."

Bradley is raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. You can lend your support at justgiving.com/Bradley-Cross3

Andy Styles - United Kingdom

Andy is 50, married with 2 daughters and a 3 year old grandson. He knows they will be thinking of him on this trip. He runs his own accountancy business based in Hampshire, England. He is a member of Alton Rugby Club and now enjoys playing social rugby with the Vets team. Andy walked to the North Pole in 2013 and says he must have forgotten what it was like because he has signed up for this trip. For Andy this is the ultimate challenge and he can't wait to earn the beer that will be consumed with his friends on his return.
Andy is raising money for Barnardo's who care for vulnerable children and young adults offering support, advice and protection.

Keith Heger - USA

Keith Heger is a master at navigating rubble zones and he is famous for cooking up delicious fajitas après ski. He has guided more than a dozen North Pole, South Pole and Greenland Crossing expeditions. Keith is a gear head, he loves to talk about gizmos and gadgets relating to polar travel. You just might find him testing out the newest piece of kit during an expedition. In his free time you'll find him SUP boarding with his two sons or teaching them how to ski.
