The sun and warmth are in full effect for AC/DC. With the sun shining down, the team covered 11 miles and gaine another 500 feet of elevation. Everyone felt good despite the heat, and the day marked a milestone: the first full day on skis after passing the icefall. Nights have been surprisingly comfortable, with no wind and temperatures mild enough to enjoy dinner outside.

Crossing the icefall is a significant step toward the team's goals within this larger journey. It marked the transition to skiing full days, bringing new challenges and rewards. The terrain today was mostly gentle, with two large rolling hills dominating the horizon. Again, the snow was sticky, demanding more effort.

The blazing sun made this one of the warmest days, with temperatures slightly below freezing. This kind of heat can sap energy quickly, especially when skiing and pulling a nearly fully weighted sled. The team plans to wake another hour earlier tomorrow to take advantage of cooler morning temperatures. This simple adjustment can make a big difference in performance and enjoyment.

Despite the hot days, nights have been surprisingly comfortable. The absence of wind and mild temperatures allowed for outdoor dinners without jackets or gloves. AC/DC was excited to take advantage of these rare warm nights.
