Hello Siorapaluk!

The team had a warm and wonderful night last night in Qeqertarssuaq. They had a leisurely morning, which allows the sun to rise high in the sky, before they departed across the fjord towards Siorapaluk. Siorapaluk is the northernmost inhabited settlement in Greenland, with a population of around 50.
Along the way they weaved their way through massive icebergs that were frozen into the fast ice of the fjord. Eventually they saw a seal sun bathing and Gustav's hunting instincts sprung into action. He set up his white sail gun rig to be able to camouflage and get close to the seal. He had a good shot and killed the seal, for which he was happy.
They then continued on and passed two sets of polar bear prints in the snow. One of the them was a few days old and the second was fresh, around 12 hours old. Despite scanning for the bear with binoculars Tobias did not see any bear.
They continued on and arrived into Siorapaluk in the early evening. They were greeted by many people, which is always nice :) Both Tobias and Peter grew up in Siorapaluk, and Gustav has a family home there, which is where the team is sleeping tonight.
Siorapaluk is very cool and very remote. There are so many dogs and they are running around everywhere!
Check back again soon for another update!
