In Keith's words, "another glorious day!" The Riders covered another 17 miles, bringing them to within 115 of the final goal! They're still a ways off, of course, but they're certainly starting to sniff the finish line.
They're still being "paid back" for all the incredibly difficult conditions they experienced earlier in the expedition. Overcast skies book-ended their six marches, but the middle was impeccably gorgeous. Sun filled skies and no wind.
It's normal to start really appreciating the gravity and impact of the total experience as you begin to near the finish. The Riders are definitely right there. Keith reports that their conversations are centered on how amazing the icecap is to experience in person. It's true. A dream world. Totally surreal.
Soak it up, Ruff Riders. Keep hammering, and keep enjoying every beautiful, surreal, challenging moment.
