The anticipated storm has arrived and has given our team yet another day of tough conditions. After about 20 minutes on the trail this morning, they decided it would be best to turn around, hunker down and let the storm pass. They experienced heavy, wet snow and spent the day in the tents drying out their gear.
The expedition is constantly evolving due to weather obstacles, but they remain in high spirits and had a nice day hanging out, sharing stories, and getting some rest! Better weather and more favorable conditions are expected in the coming days.
