South Georgia Island Bound!

This view is a taste of what's to come for our crew!

Our team is underway and enjoying excellent conditions so far. Fingers crossed that they see more of the same. The Southern Ocean is one of the roughest seas in the world, so they'll savor every day of calm weather they get!

The team had the opportunity to spend extended time onshore in the Falklands where they toured a museum, church, brewery and distillery. Of course they also did plenty of hiking and bird watching.

During their time onboard, they've enjoyed sunny days on the top deck and the Shackleton Crossing team brushed up on the expedition skills that they'll soon be putting to use on South Georgia.
