After a third straight day of skiing 11 nautical miles south, the team can see the Amundsen Scott South Pole Station on the horizon!
During the morning, the team enjoyed another stellar day of Antarctic weather. The wind picked up and the clouds rolled in during the afternoon, but cleared up by the time they pitched what is likely to be their last camp prior to reaching the Pole.
Excitement is high amongst the entire team as the goal is so, so close! What a feeling to be on the doorstep!
