The team enjoyed a great day of weather in Tasiilaq as they finished all of the final preparations for departure tomorrow. Among the tasks were procuring white gas for their stoves, setting up the tents in the "no hitch pitch" configuration, and picking up some local food options while enjoying the laidback atmosphere in Tasiilaq.
If the weather holds, the team will travel, by helicopter, tomorrow afternoon to 800m high on the icecap. There, they will meet the other members of their party, two Greenlandic hunters (Salo and Harald) and 32 sled dogs, and the journey can finally begin in earnest.
