Feeling the Chill

Our intrepid Greenland Crossing Team put in another 20km today amidst unseasonably cold temperatures. One of the best parts about this expedition is that you generally get to experience the full range of temperatures and conditions. Everything from calm and sunny, to 90mph gale-force winds, whiteouts, +40°F to -20°F, and everything in-between.
We would usually expect the temperatures they are seeing now (around -15°F plus windchill) once they are closer to the high point of the route. But, you never know what Greenland will throw at you on any given day, and that is one of the beautiful parts of this experience.
