The team made a major milestone en route to the Last Degree today. They skied past 89 degrees, 15 minutes south, which means that they're over a quarter of the way to their goal.
While they didn't quite make the ten mile goal that they set yesterday, they are poised for big progress tomorrow.
Everyday will get a little bit easier as everyone adjusts to the altitude and rigors of life on the Antarctic plateau. They have already become much more efficient at making and breaking camp. We anticipate major mileage in the days to come.
